To Our Friends, Neighbors and Clients,

We are pleased to see continued growth and change in the Wisconsin housing market as the year progresses! The market is currently at a turning point, finally showing signs of normalization after the long-lasting effects of the 2020 pandemic. This is especially exciting for first-time home buyers, who were responsible for 30% of sales in June 2022, up from 27% in May.

Summer 2022 has also ushered in more of the face-to-face interaction that we had been missing, and our team could not be happier to get back to working directly in the community. From celebrating the 4th of July by marching in multiple community parades to being a sponsor for the 2022 Breast Cancer Showhouse, the team has loved getting involved with the neighborhoods that we are proud to serve. Check out our video here.

On August 2nd, Shorewest and Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County raised the first forty-foot wall on one of their duplexes in the Prairieville Village neighborhood of Waukesha. Shorewest is the house sponsor, and team members are participating in the construction process.  We are proud to be collaborating with Habitat for Humanity, as their vision closely aligns with oursーhelping people in local communities move into the home of their dreams. We look forward to seeing the finished Shorewest/Habitat home in summer of 2023.

We are sincerely thankful for all of you who have chosen to work with Shorewest, REALTORS® over the years. With your support, we are able to give back to the communities of Wisconsin, and provide resources and knowledge to those who are navigating this ever-changing real estate market. If you’re looking to make a move or even start a new career, Shorewest, REALTORS® would love to be the team to help you get started.
