Selling my family's home was a daunting task. Within a year I'd lost my elderly mother, my step-father and, unexpectedly, my brother (all of whom lived there). The house was vacant, in need of a significant face lift and with no other family members in the area to help me out. Do I sell it as-is or do I invest the time? And then there was Susan. She was an angel, a gift from a higher power. She held my hand and guided me the entire way. Answering questions, calling contractors for quotes, opening the house when I wasn't available, answering more questions. She took the garbage cans to the end of the driveway, staged the house with her own furnishings, talked me off numerous ledges and never seemed to get frustrated with the number of emails and texts I bombarded her with. She was knowledgeable, supportive, and reassuring. I will be forever indebted to this lady.
